The couple chugged along playing equally well-known characters – and each other’s love interests -- on the show until everything changed in 2001 when Ripa was tapped to co-host Regis Philbin’s iconic morning show and shot to mega-stardom. Eleven years later, Ripa is still going strong on the show -- now dubbed “Live With Kelly” since Regis’ departure.
