Hugh Jackman, "Les Miserables" (BEST PERFORMANCE BY AN ACTOR IN A MOTION PICTURE – COMEDY OR MUSICAL). Movie audiences are more used to seeing the Australian actor muscled up and wielding adamantium, but Jackman has long been a song-and-dance man. Then again, awards show junkies know well that side of him, since he hosted the Tony Awards thrice and the Oscars back in 2009. Now he has something that he probably wouldn't get as an X-Man: an awards nod for his turn as the persecuted Jean Valjean, his "biggest challenge" ever.
