Simmons, John Hannah, Ben Barnes and Nora Arnezeder. Cooper plays a struggling writer who happens upon a manuscript that he decides to pass off as his own -- and must face devastating consequences.

"The Words" was written and directed by childhood friends of Cooper's. They credit the actor with helping their work see the light of day.
