In the 20-minute sequence in which Paul Walker and Vin Diesel -- in their trademark muscle cars -- drag an 8,000-pound safe through the narrow streets of Rio, banking around sharp corners, the vault turns into a massive mace of sorts, trashing property and pretty much any car that gets in its way. According to Dennis McCarthy, the movie's car coordinator, that one scene managed to destroy close to 200 cars.
