I love Meryl, but every time she's on the red carpet I just have to wonder what on earth she was thinking.

OMG...you look like you took a pair of sheer drapes, and wrapped around your body, put a belt and you were out the door...You are a fabulous actress, but your style? It is terrible...You look like you couldn't give too hoots about your apparel...it is awful...Meryl...watch Gone With the Wind...and the lead actress takes a pair of drapes and makes a dress! By any chance did you get inspired by Vivianne Leigh? Looks like it...Those stylists out in L.A. should be fired...they are not doing their job...

OMG! She is so talented and a lovely person, but seriously I think she's wearing a satin ROBE with a curtain scarf over it! The belt looks like a weight-lifter's belt. Come on Meryl, you can do and you are better than this. Love yourself like you are loved!

This could have been prettier if the belt were made of the same fabric and the skirt were hemmed a bit so that it isn't dragging in the front.

She is such a great actress, you'd think she'd find someone to dress her. This isn't the first time she's worn something that looks like it was made during at home. Even Scarlett O'Hara only wore the curtains once.

I adore Meryl Streep, but she has got to find another stylist to dress her for these events as they are making her look atrocious which is sad.

Finally, she did something attractive with her hair. The color of the dress is gorgeous on her, but the style does nothing for her. Beautiful smile. A real class act and a real talent.
