      "Open the pod bay doors HAL!"
      One of the greatest and FOR IT'S TIME, one of the most visually compelling films of all time. Remember WHEN this was made, folks! It was way ahead of its time in its special effects and its vision of the future. Ask most great directors and they will point to this film as one of their most influencial. As to the end of the film, I STILL DON'T GET IT, but I'm just fine with that.
