Biography
Reclusive novelist-turned-screenwriter William Monahan cut his teeth for years as a journalist for such well-known publications as Talk, Maxim and The New York Press before becoming the toast of Hollywood in the mid-2000's. The scribe of such big-budget features as Ridley Scott's "Kingdom of Heaven" (2005) and the 2006 Martin Scorsese thriller, "The Departed," Monahan began writing for Hollywood in 2001 and quickly rose to become one of …
