Biography
Macfadyen - both easily refined and resolute - was first seen in "Wuthering Heights" (PBS, 1998), but later became known for his polished role on British television's crime-thriller "Spooks" ("MI-5") (BBC One, 2002- ), in addition to his portrayal of the romantic Fitzwilliam Darcy in the highly acclaimed adaptation of Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice" (2005).
