After several minor appearances in film and on television, the 13-year-old actor attracted substantial attention for his starring turns in a pair of wildly dissimilar projects - the coming-of-age family drama "Little Manhattan" (2005) and the Jon Favreau-directed fantasy "Zathura" (2005).
