Actor-comedian George Lopez was something of a one-man entertainment industry. Best known to mass audiences as the co-creator, writer, producer and star of the ABC situation comedy "George Lopez" (2002-07), he also regularly sold out large venues with his stand-up comedy act, earned a Grammy nomination with his sophomore comedy album, and became a best-selling author.
