Slender, dark-haired actress who appeared in several films of the French New Wave, particularly those directed by first husband Jean-Luc Godard. Karina was outstanding as the lonely, lovelorn prostitute in "My Life To Live" (1962) and the effervescent petty criminal in "Band of Outsiders" (1964).
