Fox had a wide margin of victory over the rest of the networks Wednesday night, though even American Idol was down two-tenths of a point from last week's final numbers. Fast national ratings give the two-hour broadcast a 4.6 rating among adults 18-49 and 16.5 million viewers.
Among the slim competition, CBS offered encores of Criminal Minds and CSI after an original outing of Survivor. The veteran reality series was down 7 percent to a 2.6 rating with adults 18-49, giving the network an average 1.9 demo rating for the night and 7.9 million viewers.

ABC padded the first half of the night with repeats of The Middle, Suburgatory and Modern Family, prompting a predictable drop for The B---- in Apt. 23. The third episode was down 23 percent from last week for a 2.0 rating among adults 18-49, though it was still one of the strongest showings of the night and up against the most competitive half-hour of Idol. Revenge also dipped, 13 percent, to a season low of a 2.0 adults rating. ABC averaged a 1.8 with adults 18-49 and 5.6 million viewers.
On NBC, Off Their Rockers (1.6 rating among adults 18-49), Best Friends Forever (0.8) and Law & Order: SVU (1.6) were all steady with last week, while Rock Center With Brian Williams improved three-tenths of a point for a 0.9 showing with the demo. The network averaged a 1.2 rating among 18-49-ers and 4.8 million viewers.
Oddly enough, an encore of The L.A. Complex on The CW actually improved from the drama's rather tragic Tuesday premiere. The episode grew from the lowest-rated broadcast drama debut of all time, still posting a 0.3 rating among adults 18-49 but adding nearly 100,000 viewers. America's Next Top Model pulled a 0.5 demo rating.
