Allen Hughes makes his debut as a solo director with the thriller Broken City. Opening Friday, the crime film tells the tale of corruption in the Big Apple with a star-studded cast featuring Mark Wahlberg, Russell Crowe and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Meanwhile, Arnold Schwarzenegger returns in his first leading role in 10 years for Jee-woon Kim’s The Last Stand. The former governor stars as a sheriff who must stop a notorious drug cartel leader (Eduardo Noreiga) from escaping to the U.S.-Mexico border. The action-packed flick also stars Johnny Knoxville and Forest Whitaker.
