Tamar Jackson's busy year continues to zip along. The singer and reality star gave birth to her first child, son Logan, in June. Her second studio album, Love and War bowed this week, and the second season of her and husband Vincent Herbert's WE tv show Tamar & Vince premieres Thursday.
But she says she keeps it all in perspective.
"I make time for things that I want to do," says Jackson, the younger sister of singer Toni Braxton. "I love shooting The Braxtons with my sisters. I love shooting Tamar & Vince with my husband. And my little boy is so delicious! At the end of the day, I look forward to going to work and I look forward to going home."
Jackson jokes she's "a little cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs," in the upcoming season of the show, because she was pregnant while juggling a full plate. The upcoming season will feature the birth of her son, but she says shooting a reality show doesn't get in the way of living her life.
"They're in the background. They're' like lamps and pictures and curtains," Braxton says of the cameras. "I don't even pay them any attention. Life just happens and they capture it."
