Seth Byers has joined Universal Pictures marketing team as exec VP of creative strategy and research.
Byers will work closely with U marketing prexy Josh Goldstine and co-president of marketing Michael Moses to maximize strategic execution of theatrical marketing campaigns.
He will also collaborate with NBCUniversal and Comcast on cross company research and analysis pertaining to film marketing and business strategies.
Byers comes to Universal from Sony Pictures where he had previously worked with Goldstine. He most recently served as senior vice president of worldwide research.
