    Sam Champion Engaged to Longtime Boyfriend

    Congrats are in order for Good Morning America's resident weatherman, Sam Champion!

    The 51-year-old morning show staple broke the news via Twitter that he and his longtime beau, fine arts photographer Rubem Robierb, will soon tie the knot.

    "I've never been happier to share a bit of personal news!!," posted Champion with a link to GMA's website with the announcement.

    "We are thrilled and so excited and thank everyone for their good wishes," he says. The couple, who plan to wed later this year, met through mutual friends a few years ago in Miami.
