On the TV side, 30 Rock stars Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey took the first TV honors of the night for male and female comedy actor. Modern Family won comedy ensemble for the third year in a row.
Tina Fey, Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series:
"This was a lovely surprise," outstanding actress in a comedy series winner Tina Fey said of her fifth win for NBC's departing 30 Rock. The humble actress, who said she opted for a comfortable dress after hosting last week's Golden Globe Awards, said her immediate future includes two films -- the next Muppets movie, followed by Mail Order Groom with Steve Carell -- and developing another show under her overall deal with 30 Rock producer Universal Television. "I really hope 30 Rock, which is ending this week, has a long life in syndication and look forward to another generation of nerds finding it and enjoying it," she told reporters.

Cast of Modern Family, Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series
The cast of ABC's Modern Family praised their fellow actors in talking to reporters backstage of their third straight win for outstanding comedy ensemble. "We've all said that winning this award feels more special than the Emmys and Golden Globes because actors are voting for this," Eric Stonestreet said. "We know the struggle and the ups and downs of the career and to be here and win it three years in a row is a night of celebration for us." Stonestreet's remarks came after co-star Julie Bowen gave her on-screen nephew Rico Rodriguez a hard time for being one of the young stars to help roll out SAG's red carpet over the weekend. "They made you work?!" she said with a smirk. Jesse Tyler Ferguson, meanwhile, said just being nominated alongside departing series 30 Rock and The Office was an honor in and of itself. "If we can be at that level of perfection and genius as they are in our final season, we really would have succeeded," he said.
