Reese Witherspoon was slated to appear on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and Good Morning America this week to promote her Sundance indie drama Mud, which Roadside Attractions releases April 26. But execs tell the Washington Post the actress pulled out of both appearances after her Friday arrest for disorderly conduct made national headlines. While she did show up to promote the film at its NYC premiere last night, the actress reportedly did not grant interviews on the red carpet. Witherspoon and her husband, CAA agent Jim Toth, were jailed in Atlanta early Friday morning after police pulled Toth over on suspicion of drunk driving. He was charged with a DUI. Both were released on bail hours later. Witherspoon was in town shooting The Good Lie for Warner Bros. and Imagine Entertainment.
