    Ratings: CBS Wins With 'NCIS' as ABC's 'The Taste' Slips

    CBS won Tuesday night with an episode of "NCIS" as ABC's "The Taste" slipped from its premiere last week and three NBC comedies hit lows.

    CBS led in the key 18-49 demographic, scoring a 2.9 rating/8 share, and in total viewers, scoring 16.7 million. At 8, "NCIS" earned a 3.7/10 and 21. 8 million viewers, making it the highest-rated and most-watched show of the night. At 9, "NCIS" came in second in both areas with a 3.1/8 and 17.2 million. "Vegas" had 10 had a 1.9/5 and 11.1 million. "NCIS: LA" was up 15 percent in the ratings and "Vegas" was up 19 percent.

    Fox came tied Univision for second in ratings, with a 1.8/5, and was fourth in total viewers with 3.8 million. At 8, "Raising Hope" had a 1.7/5 and 3.9 million. A second episode at 8:30 had a 1.5/4 and 3.4 million. At 9, "The New Girl" had a 2.5/7, up 14 percent from last week, and 4.7 million total viewers. At 9:30, "The Mindy Project" had a 1.7/4, up 13 percent from last week, and 3.1 million.

    Besides its 1.8/5, Univison had 4.2 million total viewers, making it the third most-watched network Tuesday.

    ABC and NBC tied for fourth in ratings, with a 1.3/4. But NBC was second in total viewers, with 4.6 million, while ABC was fifth with 3.6 million.

    At 8, NBC's "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" fell 13 percent from last week to a season low of 1.4/4. A second episode, at 8:30, had a 1.5/4. The first episode had 5.2 million total viewers, and the second 5.3 million. At 9, "Go On" hit a series-low 1.2/3, and had 3.9 million total viewers. At 9:30, "The New Normal" had a series-low 1.1/3 and 3.1 million.

    At 8, ABC's "The Taste" fell 24 percent from last week's debut to a 1.6/4, and had 4.8 million total viewers. At 9, "Happy Endings" had a 1.2/3 and 2.9 million. Another episode at 9:30 had a 1.3/3 and 2.8 million. At 10, the network aired a repeat of last week's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," in which Matt Damon took over the show. It scored a .9/3 and 3.2 million.

    The CW was sixth in ratings and total viewers with a .5/1 and 1.3 million.
