What is wrong with people expressing themselves by shaving their heads? They are not doing drugs, nor are they committing a crime. I wish people would allow children some freedom of expression that is not against the law - without making such a big deal about it. It's hair, people - IT WILL GROW BACK!!!

I find it amusing that a woman (Madonna) who spent her career pushing the envelope is now so prude. She was so determained to be "professional" for the super bowl and angry at MIA's antics and now this article about her and her daughter....both situations are something Madonna herself would have done 30 years ago. Remember her rolling around on the floor in the wedding dress, the outrage from the Catholic church because of the "Like a Prayer" video or even her whole "Truth or Dare" documentary? Maybe that's why she sucks now....she's become the standards she once pushed against. Just food for thought!

Who cares. She's a teenager and teenagers do stuff like shave the sides of their heads (and much worse!). If this is the most rebellious thing she does, Madonna won't have much to worry about. The real shame is that the writer thought this look was "edgy"...it's been around for decades. If anything it's retro punk-rock.

Wow she is 15 already, I am 60 yrs old and I really like the hairstyle, I thinks it is funky and very versatile and she is a sweet lookin girl.

She's real pretty. Everyone is so focused on Kim Kardashian and her young sisters (modeling), but this young girl is naturally pretty. They should let her model some. They can throw some weave on the side of her hair to cover the shaved part.

I wonder if she can sing or act ?.She is a pretty girl.Hopefully she does something constructive with her connections and money, unlike Paulina Gretzky , and get an education, art school or uni.

I did the same thing when I was her age. I just wanted to scare the beejeezus out of my mom. She didn't even blink.

lots of girls do that now. It's not that outrageous or unique. The way it's cut, if she lets her hair down, you can't tell the side(s) are shaved. Its a safe way to change one's look. Hair up - alternative and edgy, hair down - traditional.

wow she looks older thant she should. That is not good beucase when she is 20 she will look 40. Glad they got rit of that Uni-brow.And, the red lipstick looks like a #$%$ on such a young girl. She should be looking sweet and classy and fresh, but she look like her mother old and worn out and #$%$ like. Sad tht her mother don't want better for her. And, that she don't want better. But, she just like her mother so no surprise here.
