Nicolas Cage Starrer 'Marble City' Secures Financing

Stealth Media Group, Michael Mendelsohn's Union Patriot Capital and Patriot Pictures have earmarked $25 million in senior and gap production financing for four pictures, including the $18 million budgeted action film "Marble City," starring Nicolas Cage, the companies announced at AFM Tuesday.

The $25 million budgeted feature, "SAS: The Originals," about the creation of the British specialized forces that is being described as a British "Expendables," is also included.

Stealth is also supporting financing on a British gangster film "The Fixer."

Stealth is an international film and television sales, executive production and distribution company with offices in the U.K. and the U.S. It is run by film veterans Sean O'Kelly, Michael Cowan and Jason Piette.

"We are very excited and happy to be in business with Michael Mendelsohn, someone we have known for many years and greatly respect and admire," Michael Cowan, co-CEO of Stealth Media Group said in a statement.

Mendelsohn has previously managed and distributed more than $1.8 billion in production financing, for films including "Lord of War" with Cage and Ethan Hawke.

Mendelsohn also has arranged financing for include Wolfgang Peterson's "Air Force One," "The Mothman Prophecies" and "The Matrix."
