Max Martini Joins ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’

Max Martini has joined the cast of Universal Pictures and Focus Features adaptation of E L James’ best-selling novel Fifty Shades Of Grey. He would play the role of Jason Taylor, Christian Grey’s bodyguard and head of his security team. Martini recently appeared in Pacific Rim for Warner Bros. and Captain Phillips for Sony. He is currently awaiting release on Sabotage starring Arnold Schwarzenegger which will be released in North America by Open Road Films.

Jamie Dornan will star in this hotly anticipated film adaptation in the iconic role of Christian Grey opposite Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele. Joining them in the cast are Eloise Mumford as Kate, Anastasia’s best friend and roommate; Luke Grimes as Christian’s brother, Elliot; Victor Rasuk as Anastasia’s close friend, José; and Jennifer Ehle as Anastasia’s mother, Carla. Michael de Luca and Dana Brunetti are producing alongside E L James, with Sam Taylor-Johnson directing.

Kelly Marcel wrote the initial draft of the screenplay with subsequent script work from Patrick Marber and Mark Bomback. Martini is represented by ICM Partners.
