Liberty Ross on Her Life After Rupert Sanders' Fling With Kristen Stewart: "I Felt Incredibly Vulnerable"

It's been eight months since Us Weekly broke news of director Rupert Sanders' fling with his Snow White and the Huntsman star Kristen Stewart, but his estranged wife Liberty Ross has remained largely mum on her feelings since then.

Now, however, the British model reveals to The Edit that she felt "incredibly vulnerable" in the months following.

"I was not in a good way at that point in my life and felt incredibly vulnerable," she told the digital magazine, alluding to the explosive cheating scandal.

Back in July 2012, Us Weekly revealed exclusive photos of the 42-year-old director's steamy makeout session with Stewart, 22.

At the time, Ross maintained a dignified silence, only posting a sole comment via Instagram (a picture of a a drunken Snow White with the caption "Not so pretty or so pure after all," perhaps a reference to Stewart's lead role in Sanders' film Snow White and the Huntsman. It was taken down not soon after).

The 34-year-old British model was thankfully able to get through that tough period of her life with the help of supportive friends and family, she said.

"Alex [Wang] called and asked me to do it," she said of her much-talked about strut down the runway at the designer's New York fashion week show last fall. "It was a defining moment and I felt honored to be supported by him during that difficult time."

"Doing the show was daunting, but it was wonderful to get up there, show my strength and shine for someone who believes in me," she continued. "I was very grateful."

Ross has since moved forward with her life, making red carpet appearances and even sitting front-row at Wang's fashion show this past February. More importantly, however, the model officially filed for divorce from Sanders in January, effectively ending their 10-year marriage.

The couple have two young children together -- daughter Skyla, 7, and son Tennyson, 5.

"They gave it a shot for the kids, [but] she was just so angry," a source told Us at the time. "She's the kind of person who wouldn't really ever get over it."

By Todd Cunningham LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - "Iron Man 3" was soaring past $1 billion at the worldwide box office Thursday, in a display of world domination that would make one of Marvel's super villains proud. The box-office bounty - roughly $700 million from abroad and $300 million domestically - is a major triumph for Disney, which bet big on comic book superheroes when it bought Marvel Studios for $4 billion in 2009. And its decision to bring aboard a Chinese partner for "Iron Man 3" and focus the Disney marketing machine on the booming foreign market looks pretty good right now, too. ...
