Former "24" star Kiefer Sutherland stars in a new ad for Axe body spray that breaks from the company's normal marketing technique.

In the ad, Sutherland reflects on a woman from his past that he was too intimidated to approach.
As the tinkly-toned piano plays through to the ad's end, Sutherland is seen staring at his own reflection in the bathroom mirror, a mournful expression on his face.
"If I could do it again, I'd do it differently," Sutherland's narrative reveals.
It's definitely a departure from Axe's typical ads, which seem catered to aspiring competitors in the D-Bag Olympics. But still ... does it pass the smell test?
