Jessica Alba Tweets Photos of Her Half-Blonde 'Sin City' Hair (Poll)

Jessica Alba took a page from Miley Cyrus' "How To Get Media Attention" handbook, debuting the creation of her new blonde look on Twitter.

The color change was not on a mere whim, a la Miley, but is for her role in Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez’s upcoming sequel, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.

In the previous Sin City film, Alba plays Nancy Callahan, an exotic dancer with a big ole heart of molten gold. The next installment is set for U.S. release on October 3, 2013.

But Alba also one-upped Miley by uploading a video of her saying goodbye to her long brown locks.

"Bye Bye Brown Hair r u on viddy yet? I'm documenting my brown to Sin City blonde!" she tweeted with a link to a video showing her final moment as a brunette.

She followed with "Stage 1 -ok it doesn't look that different but it's a process."

Eventually, she gave up the goods and tweeted "Stage 2 of #SinCity2 Nancy hair" with a photo of her smiling as stylists played with her lightened locks. Alba also noted that her hair is a bit more ombre than pure blonde. "She got roots that Nancy #sincity2."

The Sin City sequel isn't the only project Alba has in the works with Rodriguez. Next year, the actress will reprise her role as Sartana in the action flick Machete Kills, which also stars Danny Trejo and Mel Gibson.

Alba would look amazing in any hair color, but we really aren't huge fans of this look. At least it will be very easy to grow out, because it already looks like that's what she's doing -- growing out a blonde mistake.
