    'Insidious 2' is Happening

It was just announced that James Wan and Leigh Whannell have agreed to return for an Insidious sequel, slated for a 2013 release.

Although nothing is known about the plot, when I caught up with James and Leigh late last year at The Scream Awards, this is what they told me about a then-theoretical sequel.

"If we did Insidious 2, Patrick [Wilson] and [Rose] Byrne would have to come back," they concurred.

It's an understatement to say the bar was set high by the original as Leigh rightfully added, "We set out to make the scariest movie of the decade and I think we accomplished that."

I did like the movie but the it was scary when you did not know what it was and then you see Darth maul it lost the scary factor but the old women and the rest of the ghosts yeah that was good keep to them and you have one hell of a scary movie

NO! Don't destroy what was a perfectly good horror movie and turn it into the Saw franchise, where it got dumber with each sequel. Leave it alone.

Awesome. It was scary and at the showing I was at you had grown #$%$ men screaming like girls. Not to mention the fact that the film cost 1 million dollars and 150 million worldwide.

But the first movie wasn't even scary or good, it was more of a crappy comedy.

There were some creepy moments in the first movie, but when it went with the astral projection thing, it got lame. That guy with the long nails wasn't that scary. He looked like some freak I would see on Hollywood Blvd.

I love scary movies i just have tendencies to become extremely paranoid IE: when i saw the first one lol but i have a feeling, fo some reason, that the second one is going to be saving the father since he was so stupid and in the movie scream at the chick to leave him alone leaving his body unattended lol (Sorry f that was a spoiler) Thats just my thoughts lol but it was a good movie, though definitely not the scariest.
