STORY: 'Out of the Furnace' Added AFI Fest Lineup
In the movie, from Crazy Heart director Scott Cooper, Affleck plays Rodney Baze, who gets involved with a ruthless crime ring and mysteriously disappears, leading his brother Russell, played by Bale, to try to find out what happened to him.
In the latest trailer, Rodney is shown fighting for money in a group led by a villainous Woody Harrelson. Frustrated after returning home from Iraq, Rodney rejects Russell's invitation to work with him at the local steel mill.
After Rodney disappears, Russell's told by a police officer played by Forest Whitaker that the cops won't look for him. Russell then attempts to find him, with the trailer hinting at the danger involved in this pursuit.

The film also stars Zoe Saldana as Bale’s love interest, Sam Shepard and Willem Dafoe.
