In "Snow White & the Huntsman," Charlize Theron plays evil Queen Ravenna, creating one of the sexiest and most cruel villains in recent film history. While Theron proves she can play wicked characters well, she is not the only actress who can expertly vamp up a villain and make bad look so good.
'Audition': Asami Yamazaki
In "Audition," Eihi Shiina's thrilling depiction of abused former ballerina Asami Yamazaki is both spellbinding and horrifying. The soft-spoken and alluring beauty reveals a mean psychopathic streak which drives her to torture and kill her lovers.
Asami keeps her victims paralyzed and awake through it all while using creatively slow, painful methods. This Japanese horror film proves looks can be deceiving.

'X-Men: First Class': Emma Frost
Emma Frost is a smoldering villain in "X-Men: First Class." She adheres to the notion that diamonds are a girl's best friend and makes an art out of manipulating men's minds.
Emma, played by "Mad Men's" January Jones, spends most of her time in skimpy lingerie and skintight outfits and transforms her skin into shimmering diamonds when she wants to block others from reading her mind. Her feminine wiles allow her to expertly extract information from Russian officials to aid Sebastian Shaw (Kevin Bacon) in his evil schemes.
'Sherlock Holmes': Irene Adler
Sherlock Holmes finally meets his match in Irene Adler, as depicted by Rachel McAdams in the 2009 film "Sherlock Holmes" starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. Irene is not only a crafty thief and adept con artist but also knows to always keep her own interests in mind, whether dealing with a friend or foe.
Under the guise of helping Holmes and Watson, Irene is really working for Professor Moriarty and proves once again she cannot be trusted. Although Irene is not all bad, she is certainly not good.
