Le Pogam has appealed the court decision, reportedly seeking a larger compensation from EuropaCorp.
Le Pogam, who remains a minority shareholder in EuropaCorp, was fired for serious misconduct in early 2011, amid the company’s financial woes. Yet, the French court deemed EuropaCorp terminated Le Pogam without any real or serious motive.
Le Pogam worked side-by-side with Besson for 11 years and produced a flurry of hits from Guillaume Canet’s “Tell No One” to Pierre Morel’s “Taken.”
The French movie maven officially launched in early 2012 his own production/distribution vehicle, Stone Angels, whose credits include the upcoming Nicole Kidman starrer “Grace of Monaco.”
