Arclight Films Acquires International Rights To ‘While We Were Here’: Cannes

Los Angeles, CA (May 10, 2012) – On the heels of the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, Arclight Films has picked up international rights to director Kat Coiro’s Ischia-set romantic drama WHILE WE WERE HERE, which world premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival last month. The film, with a screenplay by Coiro, stars Kate Bosworth, Jamie Blackley and Iddo Goldberg. The film was produced by Lauren Bratman, and executive produced by Paris Kasidokostas Latsis and Terry Dougas of 1821 Pictures (“With Great Power: The Stan Lee Story”, “The Invention Of Lying”, “The Box”).

Coiro is currently in post-production on the feature “Case Of You,” starring Justin Long, Evan Rachel Wood, Peter Dinklage and Vince Vaughn.

“We’re thrilled to be handling international sales for WHILE WE WERE HERE,” said Gary Hamilton, Managing Director of Arclight Films. “It’s a pleasure to be working with such an outstanding director, cast and production team on a stellar feature film that includes a breathtaking performance by Kate Bosworth,” he continued.

WME is handling North American rights.
