Sarah Jessica Parker has joined the cast of Mixtape. Tom Vaughn will direct the music-based comedy from a script by Stacey Menear. Mixtape chronicles a girl who accidentally destroys a mixtape that once belonged to her now deceased mother. In an attempt to discover who her mother was and who she is, the girl seeks to learn more about each track on the cassette. The Sex And The City star plays the aunt who raised the young girl. Production is set to start next February. Jim Wedaa Productions and Maven Pictures will produce Mixtape. Sandstone Entertainment is financing the project. Aldamisa International is selling the international rights to Mixtape at AFM this year. Sarah Jessica Parker is repped by CAA.
