This movie is bad, saying that it is bad is saying too much about this movie. The movie stars Sarah Roemer (Disturbia) and Eric Christian Olsen (Dumber and Dumberer) The film's plot is very flimsly and the film tries to be like other successful raunchy comedies like American Pie and Superbad. The film's plot reminded me of the plot of American Pie presents Band Camp in a lot of ways. Two guys go to cheerleading camp to basically get laid, but one of them falls in love. Sound like many, many other films you have seen before? The movie isn't funny either, you will find yourself wondering if your supposed to laugh at things because some of the stuff in this movie is just so outlandish and boring at the same time. Roemer gives that average strong girl character, but even her performance was flawed, she wasn't funny at all. I actually found her funnier in the horror/thriller Disturbia, difference is that movie was actually well-made. This movie seems censored, it is censored. A movie with a plot like this is either a R rated comedy or an attempt to drag in both of the genders to a plot that both could like, getting laid and cheerleaders, that explains it's PG-13 rating, but doesn't explain why the movie isn't funny at all. |
