My daughter knows how much I like Julia Roberts films so she took me out to dinner and to see Duplicity.
About 30 minutes into the film, I turned and asked her, "Have you any idea what's going on here?" She said "Not a clue." We stared at the screen for another 30 minutes, totally lost in the incomprehensible intricacies of the plot line. Finally, I turned to her after dozing off for a couple of minutes and said, "Ready to leave?" She nodded and off we went.
What a waste of film, our time and an otherwise perfect evening. How this got rated a B is beyond me. |
