Maybe kids will like this film, but I was disappointed. The filmmakers seem to think that overloading us with admittedly cool special effects will distract us from an otherwise mediocre movie. Really, this movie's only saving grace is that it has some CGI-filled scenes that are pretty nice to look at. I particularly liked Al Capone's monochromatic gang.
Just to warn anyone who hasn't seen the movie yet, the trailers show you all of the best jokes. And if you've been bombarded with the trailers like I have, then those jokes just aren't funny anymore.
I say wait for this to come out on video. |
