I see a lot of people saying it is not creative or is stereotypical. Tyler perry does a good job and he does more than just "dress as a woman" he actually shows depth in his character, whom his based on his aunt. He provides a view on life from the viewpoint of mostly african american people and lets face it, race, culture, and location makes one view things differently than others. However, Perry has managed to create a movie that anyone can enjoy that will make you laugh, cry, and learn a wholesome lesson that you would have learnt in church if you had kept attending. Don't listen to the those who have been blinded by the comedic effect of a man dressed as a movie and watch the actually content characterization and see how good Perry's plays and movies are. |
