Let me just start by saying, I don't approve of the job Bush has done in his last two terms and I am counting down the days until he is out of office. Having said that this movie is no more then a rosey attempt to bash the president once more. The fact that this movie was released so close to the election date I find absolutely appaling. The events in the film were overembelished, this was just an excuse for the director and actor to take one last hit at Bush. I suppose the expression "you beat a dead horse" is lost to the media and those in Hollywood. Okay the guy was a crappy president, but so was Carter and you don't see anyone harping at him incesently. Here's a message to those in Hollywood and the media; give it a rest will you! Find something else to gripe about because this is getting old. |
