I am an avid fan of French films (and foreign films in general), but A Christmas Tale was a disappointment. The plot was disorganized, with poor transitions between scenes. The characters seemed to respond randomly to what was happening. I found I didn't care about any of them. And to top it off, the movie was far too long. A rare, bad French movie!
