overall- i enjoy the topics covered, sincerity of form, and moral message delivered.
i strongly recommend this for those looking for motivation while going through a moral struggle for truth and tradition. it portrays a father, son conflict over power and responsibility. the son peter has gone to medical school where his father is a professor at ucla. he fails a test which would allow for a residency. he meets bogart, the acting patient, and follow her on a whim to humboldt county where her family adopt him. through experience and conflict he finds himself and his motivation for living. full of tragedy, subtle humor, philosophy, and an overall feel good effect. |
