This movie is real. You will watch it and say "I have thought that too". It brings to light the insecurities of every parent and conveys it in a real and humorous way. The humor is smart, maybe a little over the top at times, but still SMART! There is some schticky comedy as well, which gives it a good balance to me. It is maybe a little predictable, but I could have seen it ending another way that could have been considered predictable. Besides, predictable is not bad when it is good and funny. If you are looking for a funny, smart, real movie then this is the movie for you. |
