This is a very cute comedy as my wife managed to get us a pair of free tickets to this. I normally do not like chick-flicks as I find them insulting and degrading to men. However the men in this one actually stood up for themselves agains their female counterparts. As usualy the same basic female cliches were in this chick-flick; two very stubron women trying to selfishly one-up the other with no sense of responsibility or accountability for what they are doing and, both far more concerned with their wedding day than preserving or planning their actual marriages afterwards. However because it is a comedy you can forgive this and just relax and enjoy the laughs.
If you want a great date movie this is one the guys will like to. If you do not need a date to go to, you can wait for this one to come out on rental as it is not intended to be a big-screen movie and will probably be availiable for rental in less than three months. |
