Too many dark shots, too many gunshots, not enough character development. This movie just dragged and did nothing for Depp or Cotillard, who are better actors than this script called for. The storyline was just lackluster and one never cared, nor could find out, what drove Dillinger and what he was all about. We couldn't wait for this to be over, too many dark cut-aways and film made little sense. No idea why the critics liked this. |
