I don't usually review movies but felt the need to send out a warning. I've seen enough movie trailers where I can pretty much tell whether the movie will be good, bad or just plain "ugly". This one was ugly. I have friends with the same taste in movies as I do and if they say "just wait for the dvd to come out", I usually do. I like Hayden Panettiere. I enjoyed the first half of the the season of heroes and then they dropped the ball on the second. Fine, can't be perfect all the time. I figured, for whatever reason, I like watching her act. I think she's good. She grew on me when I watched heroes so I figured seeing her in a movie might be interesting. By the way it was a last minute decision which I don't usually do... the movie was starting right after I finshed eating dinner out.
Let me start by saying this, besides this movie being the worst I have ever seen, meaning every word you'll see in the thesaurus under bad, I lost a nights sleep over it. I paid 10.00 dollars to see this, besides my date, and would have preferred to donate it to a charity of Hayden's choice then to see this film. I would have given away the money, not seen the film, and would not be "dumber" for exposing myself to this garbage. Maybe if you were kid who sneaked a couple beers from the refrigerater and went to see the movie drunk, you might, and I stress might have enjoyed it.
Basically I'm just rambling. I could go on for the next half hour about how horrible this movie was but I have to get back to work. In all honesty, If I were a poet, I'm still not sure if I'd be able to get my point across on how truley bad this film was. This should have went straight to DVD then the whole collection burned.
Hayden, I don't know who your agent is or who you owed a favor, but you should kick both of their asses and probably spank yourself on the hand a few times for doing this movie...and I like you. |
