The nerdy star was neurotic and insipid through the entire film; no arc. The fat girl leads unrealistic and unfunny. Everything about this was a retread. Jokes like cow tipping, tampons for a nose bleed, party fights and mean boys were in many better films. The minutes passed like hours. The ending was weak because there was no chemistry between the two leads that made it satisfying. The really young kids (13-15) occasionally laughed but mostly there was silence in the theater as we waited for funny scenes/lines that just never cam. |
