Highly entertaining

This movie was actually very entertaining and an edge of your seat thriller. The story was interesting (albeit predictable in places) but because of the twists that seem to come like every 15 minutes, the ending can go either way. Unfortunately, the ending goes a little too much the normal masala movie way.
Acting was decent, Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Khanna are both on top of their game where acting is concerned and clearly they do a good job in this movie. Bipasha Basu is just a glorified eye candy and for the first time i recognized that Katrina Kaif can actually act, even though she is still miles away from being good at it. Anil Kapoor looked a little out of place in my opinion but did an ok job and Sameera Reddy was very entertaining.
The visuals in this movie are really good and all round the crew does a very good job - top notch editing, camera work, cinematography, etc. If there is anything you see this movie for is see the movie for its technical aspects.
This movie is definitely far from perfect but it is absolute time pass and one of the better masala movies. I always liked Abbas Mustan and they delivered big time here. Add to the fact that the songs are catchy as hell - I love Zara Zara. Definitely watch this and dont do the mistake i did - watch it in the theatres not on dvd. |
