This is a VERY cleverly written story, an intriguing plot, and a compelling movie. The photography/cinamatography is unique and interesting and the musical numbers interspersed within are fascinating. I'm surprised Roper or whoever managed to miss this pearl in a sea of average 2008 movies. It held my attention from the opening scene to the end. Even the humor, while not hilarious, was a pleasant addition. It's a shame that this movie didn't get more attention. |
