i have to admit that i didn't play the game, but from the previews i thought that this was a must see movie. MAN WAS I WRONG!!!! this movie was so boring, so non directional, that i was nodding off a third of the way through the movie after having a caffeine packed drink to keep me awake (the drink worked, i didn't fall asleep after i left the movie until 3:35 in the morning)! the whole time i was actually coherent enough to watch the movie, i kept wondering what the hell was going on. they did a very poor job laying the ground work of who Max Payne was and what direction the movie was going in. the "demons" had no real place in the movie, and they were never really explained in a way that made you understand their meaning. this movie was just sorta all over the place. it was horrible! do not spend your hard earned money at the theater for this movie please. if you have trouble going to sleep at night, wait till this come out on dvd and pounce on it. i guarantee your sleep problems will be history! |
