Decided to sneak off mid day Monday to see it with my husband and son. We're all for movies adapted from video games and this was the most disappointing movie I've seen all year.
The plot killed it for me. The visuals were awesome. I should have put ear plugs in and just enjoyed the cgi and the good looking actors/actresses in the movie.
No substance, slow, really slow to develop the story.
The last 25 minutes was the best part, but you have to sit through the beginning and actually make it to the end.
This could have been so much better. Blame the director, he doesn't know how to direct and blame the screenwriters for not telling a better story.
I hope they don't make a sequel and if they do, they need to hire another crew to put it together. It was just dreadful. |
