Generally speaking, the whole high school depiction is off in all of the High School Musical movies. However, the story lines are cute. Without ruining the movie's plot, there were a few computer generated parts that were quite flawed. The stage scenes provided a better visual than the computers. Also, the Evans hardly had lines and that was a disappointment. On the other hand, Kelsi did had her moment to shine... briefly. The title is slightly misleading... it really is not entirely about the high school as a whole. Instead, it's mostly about Troy and Gabriella's relationship, Troy being overly dramatic and his frustration. The meaning of the movie is clichè. Fortunately, the songs are decent and are catchy and choreography is well-done. |
