I'm speechless! I am a Tyler Perry fan who has followed his career from the beginning....his first commercial success "Diary of a Mad Black Woman"....to this movie..."The Family That Preys." Wow! That's all I can say....The cast, the story, the plot. Wow! Keep growing Tyler and thank you for giving us good solid entertainment.
This movie is about two families who are intricately wound together throughout their lives through friendship. One family is wealthy, the other not so wealthly. You will laugh with them, you will cry with them, and, at times, you will cheer and applaud them like I did. You will see Alfre Woodard (Oscar?), Kathy Bates, Sanai Lathan and Robin Givens do, in my opinion, their best work. But enough, go see it for yourself....I don't want to tell you anything more....the movie is really great and will be worth every penny you spend! |
