What can i say, the visuals were amazing, the artwork, although different from what we are all used to seeing from Batman was still beautiful (all six versions of him). The problem is the main idea of this movie, the narrating of six stories instead of the traditional one. Here the directors try to show six visions of The Dark Knight and do very well....but the very fact that is just random short pieces, thrown toghther into chaos for the viewers kind of lets the experience to be messy and overall a little disapointing. It would have been much better if they had just picked one style (preferably the last one) and made the whole thing a full fledged story. Still, the animation was superb and to use Kevin Conroy's vioce again was a good choice, so i still think the movie was worth it. |
